Onyx Abyss

Oh to look into the glass and see,

what it is you really think of me.

Oh to peer into the light and find,

what it is that's on your mind.

When your eyes cast over me, do you know?

All the things I cannot show.

For deep down I must hide it all,

unless my steps do make me fall.

Down into an onyx abyss,

where all would be a total miss.

So I spread my wings and fly beyond,

and take refuge right where I belong.
